Undeterred by the Cancellation of the First Engawa AI x XR, We Are Holding Session #2 on August 1
The first planned session of "Engawa AI x XR" was canceled because two typhoons were expected. This entry announces the rescheduled event. The second session will be held from 2:00 PM on August 1. After the cancellation, I gave it some thought and changed the event title slightly.
I was excited to launch "Engawa AI x XR," but unfortunately, we canceled it because two typhoons were forecast to arrive. That was on June 27. In the end, they were not particularly strong typhoons, but there was nothing to be done about it. We made the decision after also considering the planned status of other events.
Actually, I had already reserved the date for the second session and had it scheduled for August 1. If you live on the east side of Tokyo or the west side of Chiba, please take a look at the event page.
We will be holding the second session, but I had a small hesitation.
I was concerned that making the first session about Codex + visionOS might have narrowed the audience too much. After giving it some thought, I decided to call the next event "AI + XR," the same as the series title. In other words, you do not need to be interested in Codex or visionOS specifically; anyone interested in "AI" and "XR" is very welcome.
I would like to hold Codex-focused or visionOS-focused sessions eventually, but I reconsidered and decided that it would be better to hold more targeted events once we have built up a certain number of participants. For now, all we can do is keep it going until enough people start gathering.
So, we will continue holding events based in Motoyawata. Please come along—or share the event to support us!
