2024 was the year I bought Vision Pro, and also the year I launched this site, Yori Hiroi Frontend. Then came 2025. As I wrote in my New Year's resolution, it became a year of pursuing Apple's visionOS ecosystem. Last year's retrospective and resolution are below.
I usually use Codex CLI as my main AI agent, but at least in my environment, autonomous coding for Swift-based visionOS development did not go well. I decided to take the plunge and create Seiro MCP.
There are many things I want to write about, from the background to the structure and usage, so I will try making this a short series for a while. The repository is here.
I personally felt that visionOS TC 2025, held on December 6 and 7, and LODGE XR Tech Talk #2 - visionOS, held on the 9th, were continuous events for me. I attended both, so I will write about what I thought during them.
This project began last time as a report series that makes you feel like you went to XR Kaigi. Last time, I shared booths that caught my interest in the AI / education and training edition.
This time it is the XR devices edition, which everyone loves. I will mainly report on hardware-related booths.
XR Kaigi is one of Japan's largest XR events, held in Takeshiba from December 1 to 3. As with last year, the venue was Tokyo Portcity Takeshiba, and it felt like coming back to this place again at this time of year.
In this report, I will focus on the XR Kaigi expo area and introduce the booths that caught my attention by category in a photo report style.
