I checked whether a MacBook 12 can be used for visionOS development

The newest Mac I own is a 12-inch MacBook I bought quite a while ago. I have almost completely moved to Windows, so I only use it for things like checking websites. But with the release of Vision Pro, the situation felt like it had changed. If development were possible even on a mostly unused 12-inch MacBook, or if I could at least run samples, I wanted to try it.

To start with the conclusion, unfortunately, the 12-inch MacBook cannot be used for visionOS development. I am sorry I could not meet the expectations of 12-inch MacBook users across the country.

Xcode launched on a 12-inch MacBook

When launching the latest Xcode, the option does appear, but development seems to be possible only on Mac computers with Apple silicon. Since development is not possible, samples cannot be run either.

I am reluctant to buy a MacBook now, so I am starting to feel like a Mac mini might be a reasonable option.
