Engawa AI x XR Has a Discord Too
The first event is not until this weekend, so "Engawa AI x XR" has not been held even once yet, but it does have a Discord. This post is an introduction to it.
The first proper Engawa AI x XR event will finally take place: AI + XR Hack #2 @ Motoyawata. It will be about a month after we canceled the June 27 event because two typhoons might arrive. The event is on August 1, and I would love for you to come, but I know it may be a little far away or you may not be able to make it.
So, I have set up a Discord for Engawa AI x XR where we can exchange information.
Do You Use Discord?
I have joined various Discord servers, but I have hardly ever run one myself. To be honest, I have not used Discord very much beyond simply joining servers. I have used it for hackathon events before.
So, unlike X, I do not check it many times every day. I only look at it occasionally when something prompts me to. Since I plan to use it as the event's main channel, I want to start checking it more often.
I Want to Share Information Through Discord Channels Too
Along with information about Engawa AI x XR events, I plan to post ideas that I would like to try at the events. I have not managed to do that yet, but I intend to get started. It is more closed than X, but I hope it can grow into a place where people who are interested in offline events but do not often get the chance to attend can communicate with one another.
Channels Available Now
There are still many things about Discord that I do not understand, but the server currently has the following channels. Honestly, even the person running it does not know everything, so please let me know if you have any advice on how it could be improved.

By the way, even if you are not planning to attend an event at the moment but are a little curious, please feel free to join. I would be happy if you could share things like what you have made, what you have bought, a theme you would like to talk about, or a topic you would like us to feature.
