I use an iPad Pro 11 inch as my main tablet. I bought it in 2018, so it has lasted a remarkably long time. It is very convenient, so I always want to take it with me when I go out, but its functionality overlaps slightly with a PC. So I thought that if I could use it as an external monitor, that would give me a reason to bring it along.
If you are doing a workation, morning will eventually come. In the morning you will eat breakfast, but if you are staying at Kinosaki, breakfast is not served in the way it would be at a typical ryokan. In Kinosaki Onsen, however, that can become an advantage.
"Kinosaki Onsen Workation Retreat," which I wrote about in the first installment, is a name I came up with myself. Officially, it is probably called "Kinosaki Onsen Winter Retreat." That name was written in the retreat guide, so it should be accurate as a source. Still, I deliberately want to call it the "Kinosaki Onsen Workation Retreat."
I am doing a technical evaluation because I want to try using Payload CMS. I installed it locally as a trial, so here are my impressions.
One change that comes with becoming a freelancer is shifting from "having days off" to "making days off." If you pack your schedule with work, you can maximize your income, but that's not a sustainable approach for 20 years or more. I believe it's important to create a balance by taking breaks appropriately.
